Romanian tennis players Mara Gae (20) and Anamaria Federica Oana (18) qualified on Friday for the semifinals of the ITF tournament in Campulung Muscel (W15), with total prizes worth 15,000 USD, Agerpres reports.
Three other Romanians, Diana-Ioana Simionescu (18), Maia Ilinca Burcescu (15) and Patricia Georgiana Goina (20), were defeated in the quarterfinals.
In the semifinals, Gae will face off Italy's Enola Chiesa, while Oana will take on Belgium's Tilwith Di Girolami.
