Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Liviu Dragnea on Monday said he has agreed with Senate President Calin Popescu-Tariceanu to have a meeting of the ruling coalition with Premier Viorica Dancila and Public Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici to decide upon the companies that are to be included in the Sovereign Development and Investment Fund (FSDI).
"We have addressed a very important topic, namely the Sovereign Development and Investment Fund that must become operational. There is yet to adopt the Gov't Decision [HG, ed. n.] (...) and we have both agreed that in the following days - Wednesday or Thursday - to have a meeting in the ruling coalition with Mrs. Prime minister and the Finance minister, to establish exactly for the last time, which companies are to be included into the Fund and the date the HG will be adopted. It is a very important development engine, it is an important investment source for Romania and it must be kicked off fast," Dragnea said at the Parliament Palace.
