Scores of taxi drivers and hauliers have already gathered in the Victoriei Square downtown Bucharest, at a protest that has been announced by the The Confederation of Authorized Operators and Carriers in Romania (COTAR) upon dissatisfaction regarding the sector's piracy.
Although the protest was authorised to take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 21:00, the taxi drivers and coach drivers, hauliers have started from the very dawn, at 7:00 to shout their discontent and blow in vuvuzelas.
The organisers say that the protest in front of the Government headquarters will round up over 6,000 taxis and coaches.
