Prosecutors of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) are carrying out several dozen raids on Wednesday in Bucharest and in several counties in the country in connection with the activity of the Unirea Trade House, an institution subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture, judicial sources told AGERPRES.
According to the quoted sources, 60 searches are being carried out in Bucharest and in the counties of Ilfov, Ialomita, Prahova, Giurgiu, Constanta, Iasi, Timis, Caras-Severin, Cluj, Bihor, Maramures and Arad in a case investigating offenses of abuse of office between 2023 and 2024.
Judicial sources said that the damage in this case amounts to 40 million lei.
