Ten Romanian tennis players won on Wednesday in the first round of the W15 Bucharest 4 ITF tournament, prize money USD 15,000, hosted by the Simona Halep National Tennis Centre.
After Lavinia Tanasie, Eva Maria Ionescu and Alexia Iulia Marginean's wins on Tuesday, Ilinca Dalina Amariei (2nd), Oana Georgeta Simion (3rd), Andreea Prisacariu (4th), Arina Gabriela Vasilescu (8th), Maia Ilinca Burcescu, Diana-Ioana Simionescu, Cara Maria Mester, Carmen Andreea Herea, Bianca Elena Barbulescu, and Simona Ogescu follwoed suit.
In the second round, five fixtures out of eight will be entirely Romanian.
