Romanian tennis player Stefan Palosi won the ITF tournament in Otopeni (M15), equipped with total prizes worth 15,000 US dollars, on Sunday, after defeating the Dutchman Stijn Paardekooper (who came from the qualifiers) in the final, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4.
Stefan Palosi (25 years old, 607 ATP), 6th seeded, sealed his victory after two hours and 12 minutes of playing.
Paardekooper (22 years old, 1,161 ATP) managed 10 aces in this match.
Palosi won his fifth ITF title and the second of this year, after the one won in Buzau, at the beginning of the month.
The doubles title was won by the Italians Niccolo Catini/Noah Perfetti, 2nd seeded, after scoring 6-2, 7-6 (7/4) against the Rares Teodor Pieleanu (Romania)/Vladimir Ignatik (Belarus), in the final played on Saturday.
