'U' achieved its second consecutive victory in the competition after an exceptional second quarter, which it won by a 20-point margin (29-9).
Newly naturalised Romanian citizen Daron Russell was the best player for the Romanian champions, scoring 26 points, with 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Duan Miletic stood out with 15 points and 6 rebounds, while Karel Guzman added 11 points and 3 rebounds.
For Veolia Towers Hamburg, Leonard Thorpe led with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists, Zacharie Perrin added 17 points and 7 rebounds, while Carlos Stewart contributed 11 points.
