National production of energy cannot cover anymore the country's consumption on Monday morning, so that Romania has to import more energy, according to the data posted in real time on the website of Transelectrica company.
Therefore, at 10:00, the consumption was of 9,120 MW, and the production totalized 8,654 MW. The import-export sold was positive, namely the imports are higher than exports, the difference being of 475 MW.
The biggest quantities come from Ukraine (407 MW), Hungary (145 MW) and Serbia (125 MW). Romania has a negative sold with Bulgaria, respectively the exports are higher than imports.
The national production is ensured by coal plants - 2,642 MW, hydro-electric plants - 2,228 MW, nuclear power plant from Cernavoda - 1,370 MW, wind turbines - 123 MW, solar panels - 199 MW, biomass - 47 MW.
