Over 2,900 military personnel and specialists from the Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Romanian Intelligence Service, Special Telecommunications Service, and National Administration of Penitentiaries, with 220 technical assets — 60 of which will be on static display — and 45 aircraft, will take part in the military parade organised on 1 December at the Arch of Triumph to mark Romania's National Day.

According to the Ministry of National Defence, 240 foreign soldiers will also march in the parade, from France, North Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Spain, the United States, as well as troops from allied countries contributing to NATO structures on Romanian territory.

On Tuesday, 25 November, an open rehearsal for media representatives will take place at the Ghencea Training Ground starting at 11:00.

On Saturday, 29 November, between 09:00 and 12:00, the full rehearsal for the 1 December national parade will be held at the Arch of Triumph.

For the smooth conduct of the official ceremony, the Bucharest Traffic Brigade will implement measures to ensure traffic flow and inform drivers about road restrictions on routes leading to the Arch of Triumph on 29 November and 1 December.

Military aircraft training flights will take place between 26 and 29 November at low altitudes over Ilfov County, Bucharest, and Alba Iulia. All training flights will be conducted with full air safety measures and efforts to minimise noise impact on the civilian population, the ministry said.

During both the rehearsal at the Arch of Triumph on 29 November and the official parade on 1 December, between 09:00 and 12:00, 21 cannon salutes will be fired while the National Anthem is played, in the south-east area of King Michael I Park, in accordance with military tradition for National Day.

The Ministry of National Defence appeals for citizens' understanding, noting that during the cannon salutes and aircraft flyovers, noise levels may reach a point of discomfort for people and pets.

On 1 December, the national flag will be flown at all military institutions in the country, ships and river vessels will raise the Grand Colours, and a military equipment exhibition will be installed near the Arcul de Triumf in Bucharest, open to visitors after the official ceremony until 14:30.

In garrisons hosting large units and military formations, representatives of the Romanian Army will participate, at the request of and with support from local authorities, in the preparation, organisation, and conduct of military and religious ceremonies.

Military personnel deployed in operational theatres or on external missions will also take part in ceremonies and activities organised for National Day.
