'100 Romanian Traditions' Fair - from Friday to Sunday at the Museum of the Romanian Peasant

The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant (MNTR) is hosting, from Friday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00, the "100 Romanian Traditions" Fair, organised by the Kogaion 115 Association.

Flok creators attending this event, which will take place in the museum courtyard, are exhibiting a variety of textiles and traditional costumes characteristic to each folkloric region, Moldavia and Tismana carpets, painted ceramics with motifs inspired by the embroidery of peasant blouses, icons, household objects and small carved wooden furniture, ii [traditional blouses] and headscarves, traditional shoes, belts, traditional aprons, skirts, coats and cincture, traditional bead jewelry and sacred art objects, folk masks, the MNTR announced on Wednesday on its Facebook page.

There will also be ornaments made of clay, graphic works, pictures created from pressed flowers, unique silver jewellery, crocheted toys, hand-knitted wool clothing for children and adults, as well as candles made from organic oils.

Antique collectors have, as usual, countless objects that carry the charm of past times: rustic furniture, dowry chests, old books and collectible items.

All regions of the country are represented with gastronomic products.

Entry to the fair is free of charge.
