Financial and banking professionals, business representatives and public authorities from Central and Eastern European countries will participate on Thursday in the 10th edition of the "CFA CEE Investment Conference", organized by the CFA Romania Association.
The theme of the event is "Capital Markets in Central and Eastern Europe: A new decade of outperformance", providing a platform for debate and exchange of experience on the current and future trends of financial markets in our region, note the organizers.
The conference will be attended, among others, by Dorin Recean, prime minister of the Republic of Moldova, Anca Dragu, governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Moldova, Alexandru Petrescu, president of the Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA), Margaret Franklin, CEO of CFA Institute and former Chair of the Board of Governors.
The topics of discussion will be, among others, the long-term growth prospects of the economies of the countries in the region as a basis for welfare growth, the opportunities that the markets in our countries offer to investors and financiers - both local and international - as well as global geopolitical and economic challenges.
The successful path of the Central and Eastern European region over the last decade, during which the region's economies and capital markets have performed very well will also be addressed.
