As many as 12,934 people have received the coronavirus jab with either the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson&Johnson vaccine in the past 24 hours, the National COVID Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) informs.
As many as 1,679 people were given the first shot, 2,231 received the second shot, and 9,024 the third booster dose.
According to CNCAV, since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, on December 27, 2020, 16,323,909 doses of vaccine were administered to 8,050,080 people, 7,948,944 receiving the complete schedule and 2,307,656 being immunized with the third dose, Agerpres.ro informs.
In the last 24 hours, there have been four side effect occurrences, one local and three whole-body reaction.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign, there have been 19,848 adverse reactions to COVID vaccines, 2,168 local and 17,680 whole-body reactions.
