2022Budget: Parliament budget for 2022 gets favourable opinion from budget-finance committees

The parliamentary budget-finance commissions gave a favourable opinion, on Tuesday, with 23 votes "in favour" and 7 "against", on the budget of the AGERPRES Romanian National News Agency for 2022.

"The budget allocated to the National News Agency AGERPRES for 2022 is 27,883,000 lei, of which money from the state budget represent - 24,883,000 lei. 3,000,000 lei are planned as agency's own revenues next year, with spending on staff estimated at 22,200.000 lei. This is enough money for the current employees to be paid their salaries, but we hope to benefit from your help and that of the Ministry of Finance at at revision, in order to be able to fill in the positions that remained vacant this year as well," AGERPRES Director General Claudia Nicolae told the committees.
