390 people with COVID-19, admitted to health units, 23 COVID-related deaths in past week

A total of 390 people with COVID-19 are admitted to health units, the Ministry of Health informed on Tuesday.

According to the source, 46 patients are admitted to ICUs.

Of the total number of patients currently admitted, 30 are minors, of whom 29 are treated in wards and one in ICUs.

In the past week (13 - 19 November), 23 deaths were reported by the National Institute of Public Health - 11 men and 12 women.

One death occurred in the 50-59 age category, five in the 60-69 age category, ten in the 70-79 age category and seven in the over 80 age category.

Of the deceased patients, 22 had comorbidities and 9 were vaccinated against COVID.

To date, 68,613 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died in Romania.
