As many as 2,418 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 are hospitalized in health facilities, of which 54 are children, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) announced on Tuesday, agerpres reports.
According to GCS, 393 patients are admitted to intensive care, of which seven are children.
Of the patients admitted to the ICU, 34 have a certificate attesting to the anti-COVID vaccination.
According to the data existing in the alerte.ms application, at national level there are 1,320 ICU beds for COVID-19 patients, of which 304 in Bucharest.
On Romania's territory, 7,855 people confirmed with infection with the novel coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 2,628 in institutional isolation. Moreover, 97,810 people are in quarantine at home and 48 in institutional quarantine.
