The number of companies and authorized individuals that turned insolvent has gone up by 5.81% during the first 11 months of this year, when comparing with the same period of 2020, where 5,443 insolvencies were registered, according to the data published by the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC).
The most companies and authorized individuals that turned insolvent were registered in Bucharest, namely 996, dropping by 13.47% from the intervals of January-November 2020, when there were 1,151 insolvencies registered.
The following places in the hierarchy of insolvencies are in the counties of Cluj, with 449 insolvencies (+36.47%), Bihor - 391 (+15.34%), Timis - 280 (+2.56%) and Iasi - 209 (+24.4%).
The counties with the least insolvencies are Covasna (17), Harghita (20) and Tulcea (22).
On activity areas, the largest number of insolvencies was registered in retail, wholesale, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, namely 1,594 (+4.46%), in constructions - 924 (+13.24%) and the processing industry - 668 (+10.6%).
In November 2021 there were 576 insolvencies registered, most of them in the Capital city (102) and the counties of Cluj (56), Bihor (44) and Timis (36).AGERPRES
