A number of 8,974 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in the last 24 hours and 120 deaths, of which 5 before the reference period, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) announced on Friday, Agerpres reports.
In Romania, the highest number of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic - 40,018 - was registered on February 1.
