The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's trading session lower on most indices, with total turnover amounting to 56.04 million lei (10.99 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, fell by 0.18% to 28,212.39 points, while BET-Plus, which reflects the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the stock exchange, closed down by 0.17%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for the performance of investment funds, closed down by 0.51%, while BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utilities companies, recorded a decline of 0.28%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which tracks the 25 most liquid stocks, posted a decrease of 0.16%, while the financial investment companies index, BET-FI, closed with a slight gain of 0.01%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, closed down by 0.03%.
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions worth 11.08 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares with 6.12 million lei and Romgaz shares with 3.81 million lei.
The best performances were recorded by Mecanica Ceahlau shares (+7.78%), Electrocontact (+7%) and Artego (+6.93%).
The biggest declines were recorded by Prefab shares (-14.29%), Altur (-3.23%) and AAGES (-2.33%).
