The Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance (ARASEC), in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States of America in Romania, is organizing a new edition of the international conference CyberCon Romania 2024, a benchmark event in the field of cybersecurity, awarded with CyberOSPA in 2022 for excellence in promoting cybersecurity at the international level, told Agerpres.
CyberCon Romania 2024 will take place on November 20 and 21, 2024, at the European Commission's Representation in Romania and brings together experts from the public, private and academic sectors, and participants will explore the latest challenges and solutions in cybersecurity and cybercrime prevention.
According to the organizers, among the topics addressed are: current challenges and trends in the field, maintaining resilience for a secure digital infrastructure, improving cooperation between the defence and civilian sectors, the evolution of cyber threats and innovative solutions to combat them, as well as recommended practices to combine cybersecurity and cybercrime prevention.
