The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) informs that 525 applications for voting by mail and 182 for voting at polling stations abroad were received by Wednesday, at 11,00 am, on the portal www.votstrainatate.ro, in the first two days since the launch of the procedure for registering Romanian voters with domicile or residence abroad for the presidential elections of May 4.
The deadline for registering with the Electoral Register as a voter abroad by mail is March 20, 23:59, and the deadline for registering as a voter abroad at a polling station is March 4, 11.59 pm.
The consolidated list of documents certifying residence abroad is contained in the Order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs no. 373/2024, with subsequent modifications and completions, and can be accessed at the following link:
