Alina Vuc wins gold medal at women`s German Grand Prix

Romanian athlete Alina Vuc won on Sunday the gold medal in the women's 48-kg category of the Grand Prix of Germany, that took place in Dormagen, after she defeated Jade Parson (Canada) in the final.

Alina Vuc, who won the bronze medal in the European Wrestling Championships, managed to defeat Patricia Bermudez (Argentina) in the semifinals, namely the winner of the bronze medal of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, according to the website of the United World Wrestling.

The bronze medal was won by two wrestlers Bermudez and Julie Sabatie (France).

European junior champion Kriszta Incze couldn't win the bronze medal in the 63-kg category, the Romanian athlete being defeated by Viviane Herda (Germany). Braxton Stone won the gold medal in the 63-kg category, and the silver medal went to Henna Johansson (Sweden), while Nadine Weinauge (Germany) won the bronze medal.
