The American documentary photojournalist Daniel Owen has been invited to open on Monday, January 27, a photography exhibition on the life of the Jews of Oradea.
The event is organized by the Foundation for the Protection of Historical Monuments in Bihor County to mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day and will take place in the Aachvas Rein Synagogue, in the presence of the artist.
The exhibition presents a selection of photos taken in collaboration with the Jewish Community of Oradea in 2015-2016 and subsequently published, together with an essay titled "The Jews of Oradea" in The New York Times, as a reportage.
The event will be completed by a musical moment performed by the pianist Teodora Tonea Owen.
The exhibition will be open until the end of February. AGERPRES
