The memorandum was signed by Adrian Nicusor Nica, chairman of ANAF, and Olga Golban, Director of the State Fiscal Service of the Republic of Moldova, during an official ceremony held at ANAF headquarters.

"This collaboration framework reflects our commitment to develop bilateral relations in the tax administration segment, in the spirit of European cooperation, good neighborliness and the common objective of promoting modern, transparent and efficient tax administrations", declared the ANAF president, quoted in the press release.

The memorandum aims to improve processes and institutional capacities in both countries through expert exchanges and technical sessions.

Through this framework of collaboration, ANAF and the State Fiscal Service of the Republic of Moldova will hold specialized working meetings and joint training courses (technical sessions). The aim is to strengthen the two institutions and modernize all tax and duty collection procedures.

The signing took place during an official visit of the delegation from the Republic of Moldova, which also included in-depth technical discussions on voluntary compliance, the use of cash register data, and the implementation of digital solutions in the fiscal field.
