A total of 58,502 properties were sold in October nationwide, 3,242 more than in September, the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising reported on Monday.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, the number of houses, land and apartments that were the subject of transactions in October is 9,496 lower than the similar period in 2024.
The most real estate sales were recorded in Bucharest - 8,829 and in Ilfov - 3,981 and Cluj - 2,929 counties.
The counties with the fewest properties sold are Teleorman - 56, Covasna - 394 and Salaj - 411.
Regarding the county capitals, the most real estate transactions took place in Cluj-Napoca - 1,096, Brasov - 1,079 and Iasi - 877, and the fewest in Alexandria - 21, Slatina - 64 and Slobozia - 71.
The counties where the most agricultural land was sold in October are Dolj - 1,341, Timis - 613 and Buzau - 580.
