ANOFM organized professional training courses for 10,388 people in first nine months

The National Employment Agency (ANEF) included 10,388 people in the vocational training programs organized in the first nine months of 2025.

According to a press release from the institution, sent to AGERPRES on Thursday, 7,254 unemployed people participated in these courses, and 1,383 people are part of the category of those who do not benefit from free training, according to the legal provisions in force.

Also, 187 people are beneficiaries of free services, other than the unemployed, while another 1,564 people have benefited from on-the-job training through apprenticeship programs.

During the reference period, 454 free vocational training programs were organized, of which 246 were qualification/requalification programs, 140 were initiation, improvement or specialization programs and 68 were key/transversal skills programs.

The main professions/occupations, depending on the number of participants, for which free vocational training programs for the unemployed were organized between January and September 2025 are: digital skills for using information technology as a learning and knowledge tool - 626; commercial worker - 518; human resources officer - 517; security guard - 500; data entry, processing, validation operator - 487; kitchen assistant - 419; green space caretaker - 371; entrepreneurial skills - 233, etc.

Depending on the age category, most students (3,222) are over 45 years old, followed by those "35 - 45 years old" (1,862 people), under 25 years old (1,043), "between 30 and 35 years old" (631) and "between 25 and 30 years old" (496).

Also, 4,159 people had professional, high school or post-high school education, 1,515 people had middle school education, 1,227 people had higher education and 353 people had less than eight grades.
