The commissioners of the National Authority for Consumer Protection - Coastal Command 2025 applied, following the controls carried out between July 14 and 20, 2025, contravention fines amounting to over 1.5 million lei, according to a press release from the ANPC.
During the mentioned period, 259 control actions were carried out and 278 contravention fines were applied, amounting to 1,565,500 lei, and 128 warnings. Also, goods worth 61,168 lei were confiscated for destruction, and goods worth 325 lei were temporarily stopped from being sold.
At the same time, 31 economic units, from all seaside resorts, were temporarily closed.
