BEC partial results for Chamber of Deputies after centralization of 59.61pct of polling stations

The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) published on Monday the partial results of the election for the Chamber of Deputies, after centralizing, by 9.00 am (Romanian time), the data from 11,874 polling stations, representing a percentage of 59.61% of the total of 19,919 polling stations established in the country and abroad.

According to BEC, the situation of the votes obtained for the Chamber of Deputies is as follows:

Social Democratic Party (PSD) - 1,116,436 votes (21.9%);

Alliance for the Unity of Romanians (AUR) - 895,321 votes (17.56%);

National Liberal Party (PNL) - 697,218 votes (13.68%);

Save Romania Union (USR) - 563,780 votes (11.06%);

Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania (UDMR) - 473,443 votes (9.29%);

S.O.S. Romania Party - 346,698 votes (6.8%);

Young People's Party (POT) - 309,711 votes (6.08%).
