Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared on Friday that he is considering an evaluation of the ministers at the beginning of next year.
At the same time, he noted that "frequent changes" of ministers are not favorable to long-term projects, agerpres reports.
"Each minister validates himself every day through what he does. And, yes, periodically, analyses can be made of what each of us does. And probably at the beginning of next year a first assessment can be made, at least after half a year," the prime minister said in a press conference held at Victoria Palace.
He mentioned, however, that, in general, he supports "stability in positions", considering that in any field it takes time to achieve results. In this regard, he offered the example of the steps related to the renegotiation of the PNRR, a program with 30,000 projects, worth 21 billion euros. This requires "very strong" teams, which will work over several months, Bolojan added.
"In reality, frequent changes of ministers do not help with long-term projects, with a so-called predictability, with constant results, and therefore, I have never supported frequent changes of ministers, but in government and political activity there will always be such situations. Think that when you are in a certain position, you always have a bomb under your seat that can detonate, things that are within your area of ??responsibility can happen, accidents can happen, you can make mistakes, and such situations happen. In general, I have encouraged stability in positions and I considered that in any field, to have results, you need, first of all, time. You cannot deliver from one day to the next," the prime minister specified.
Regarding the PSD request to reshuffle the Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, the Head of Government opined that such statements do no good to anyone.
"It's very easy for me to get into a carousel of statements. There's a season now, you know, of this type. But I think that our country is more important to us, and when you hold a certain position or have a certain responsibility, you have to treat things as seriously as possible. I will not amplify this type of statements, which I don't think, in the end, do us any good. Neither to some nor to others. This is my point of view," he said.
