Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete announced that the Romanian Ministry of Health has set up a dedicated medical support system for residents evacuated after Friday morning's explosion in Sector 5, with a focus on those with chronic conditions or who are insulin-dependent.
Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete announced that, in collaboration with the Bucharest Hospitals and Medical Services Administration (ASSMB), several hospitals in the capital are now providing outpatient medical care for those affected.
'We have ensured continued access to medication and medical monitoring for people on chronic treatment regimens or who are dependent on insulin,' Rogobete said on Digi 24 private television broadcaster.
The explosion, which occurred in a residential block on Vicina Street, left three dead and at least twenty injured, with hundreds evacuated. Authorities continue to assess damage and provide support services.
