Bucharest Stock Exchange back in the green at Tuesday's market close

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) was back in the green at the close of Tuesday's trading session, with RON 106.48-plus million (EUR 21.39 million) worth of transactions.

The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.32 percent to 17,568.81 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.28 percent.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.27 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK gained 0.38 percent.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies inched up 0.22 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG rose 0.13 percent.

The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market picked up 0.03 percent.

The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Banca Transilvania with RON 9.19 million, followed by Romgaz with trades worth RON 7.52 million, and Digi Communications n.V. with RON 7.08 million.

According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+11.51 percent), Altur (+8.74 percent), and Condmag (+7.69 percent).

Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Armatura (-6.14 percent), Prefab (-5.33 percent), and Green Tech International (-3.62 percent).
