Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Friday's session in the green

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's trading session with gains on most indices and the value of transactions was 41.719 million RON (8.223 million euros).

The most liquid were Banca Transilvania shares, with 9.125 million RON, Transgaz - with 3.451 million RON and OMV Petrom - with 2.879 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.41%, to the value of 19,768.54 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Stock Exchange, closed up by 0.38%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.42%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.01% compared to the previous day.

At the same time, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, increased by 0.42%, and BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.79%.

Also, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.43%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Patria Bank (+12.43%), Sinteza (+10.83%), and AETA (+7.30%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Armatura shares (-14.38%), Green Tech International (-6.73%) and Artego (-6.50%).
