The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the last session of this week higher on most indices and the value of transactions fell to 90.41 million RON (17.93 million euros), from 116.35 million RON (20 million euros) the previous day.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.04%, to the value of 18,819.83 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with a rise of 0.02%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.04%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.15%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, appreciated by 0.24%, and BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, closed in the red by 0.07%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed with a decrease of 0.63%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 45.97 million RON, followed by shares of Fondul Proprietatea, with 5.14 million RON, and OMV Petrom, with almost 4.78 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by Prefab shares (+10.79%), Romcab (+10.5%) and Condmag (+7.69%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by UAMT shares (-11.87%), Electrocontact (-7.69%) and Sinteza (-6.49%).
