The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's session higher on almost all indices, with the value of transactions reaching 81.67 million RON (16.08 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.57%, to 18,735.57 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with gains of 0.54%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.47%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, fell by 0.75%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose by 0.46%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.43%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed down by 0.28%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 27.595 million RON, followed by Romgaz shares, with 17.872 million RON, and OMV Petrom, with 6.53 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by Prebet shares (+7.37%), Transelectrica (+3.64%) and Vrancart (+3.59%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Mecanica Ceahlau (-7.34%), UAMT (-6.73%) and Ropharma (-4.65%).
