Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Monday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the first trading session of this week higher on almost all indices, with total trading of 82.21 million lei (16.16 million euros), of which share transactions represented 63.96 million lei (12.57 million euros), inform Agerpres.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.58%, up to 22,751.35 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.57%.

Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 1.1%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 1.08%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase in value of 0.72%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up 1.4%.

On the other hand, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.47%.

The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 13.49 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - of 5.08 million lei, and those of Hidroelectrica - 4.47 million lei.

At the same time, the best developments were recorded by UAMT shares (+10.27%), Chimcomplex Borzesti (+7%) and Aerostar (+5.5%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by Grupul Industrial Electrocontact shares (-12.96%), Artego (-8.04%) and Vrancart (-4.76%).
