Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed Wednesday's trading session higher with almost all indices up on total trades of RON 58.34 million (EUR 11.54 million).

The most traded stocks were Banca Transilvania, with RON 26.77 million in trades, followed by Hidroelectrica, which generated trades worth RON 5.29 million, and Fondul Proprietatea, with trades of RON 2.66 million.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.56% to 17,932.83 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 0.55%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 0.46%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.29%.

The BET-FI index of financial investment stocks decreased by 0.48%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, advanced 0.93%.

The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was up 0.06%.

The top three risers were UAMT (+11.48%), SOCEP (+6.39%) and Artego (+5.69%).

The top three fallers were Sinteza (-14.95%), Conpet (-5.58%) and One United Properties (-4.54%). AGERPRES
