Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's session higher on almost all indices, and the total value of transactions was over 80 million RON (16.07 million euros).

The most liquid shares were those of TTS (Transport Trade Services), with transactions of 12.56 million RON, followed by the shares of OMV Petrom - 9.42 million RON and Hidroelectrica - 7.71 million RON.

The main BET index recorded an appreciation of 0.41%, reaching 17,861.11 points, and the BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares on the Stock Exchange, registered an advance of 0.56%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks rose 0.51%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, fell 0.12%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, gained 0.43% in value, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utility companies, closed up 0.30%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.63%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Antibiotice (+13.82%), Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+11.43%) and Romcab (+8.82%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Prebet (-14.81%), Carbochim (-12.50%) and STK Emergent (-8.45%).
