The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher Thursday's session and the value of transactions rose to 84.296 million RON (16.671 million euros), from 48.98 million RON (9.66 million euros) in the previous session.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.88%, to the value of 17,557.98 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 1.82%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 1.62%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, "lost" 0.90% of its value.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, appreciated by 1.41%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 1.98%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed with an appreciation of 1.60%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 20.971 million RON, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with 15.621 million RON, and Purcari Wineries Public Company, with 10.651 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by Promateris shares (+12.50%), Purcari Wineries Public Company (+11.68%) and Premier Energy (+10.18%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Sinteza shares (-14.67%), Armatura (-14.57%) and Carbochim (-13.33%).
