Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher on all indices on Thursday, with a trading value of approximately 88.425 million RON (around 17.419 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.83%, to 20,189.38 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed higher by 0.80%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.87%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose by 0.64%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose by 1.08%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an increase of 1.05%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up by 0.74%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 16.725 million RON, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with 8.433 million RON, and Romgaz, with 6.096 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by AETA shares (+14.47%), Artego (+10.53%) and MedLife (+4.99%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Promateris shares (-6.06%), Green Tech International (-5.23%) and Mecanica Fina (-5.08%).
