The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's trading session higher on all indices, with trades totaling 49.26 million lei (9.69 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.66%, to 21,526.78 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.65%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.69%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, gained 0.51%, compared to the previous day.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.99%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.70%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 2.27%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 6.61 million lei, followed by Nuclearelectrica shares - with 4.8 million lei, and Hidroelectrica shares - 4.48 million lei.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by the shares of Bittnet Systems Bucuresti (+14.96%), Armatura (+14.69%) and Romcab (+5.03%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Construcţii Napoca (-9.57%), Condmag (-3.57%) and Farmaceutica Remedia (-2.2%).
