Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Tuesday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Tuesday's session higher, with trading of 60.3 million RON (12.11 million euros), of which share transactions represented 49.45 million RON (9.93 million euros).

The main index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.68%, up to 17,758.93 points, the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares, closed higher by 0.63%, and the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.61%.

On the other hand, the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.51%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, registered an advance of 1.11%, while BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 0.82%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.16%.

The most liquid stocks on the regulated market were those of Hidroelectrica, with exchanges of 8.55 million RON, followed by the shares of Green Tech International, with 6.11 million RON, and OMV Petrom - 6.02 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Sinteza (+14.93%), Romcab (+14.71%) and Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (+11.46%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Bermas (-9.40%), Promateris (-8.96%) and Condmag (-6.25%).
