Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Tuesday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's session higher on almost all indices, with trading of 69.29 million RON (13.65 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.57%, to 18,842.64 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed higher by 0.56%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.39%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, fell by 0.40%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose by 0.43%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.24%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up by 0.65%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 21.13 million RON, followed by MedLife shares, with 14.05 million RON, and OMV Petrom, with 3.55 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Condmag shares (+14.29%), Comelf (+8.06%) and Green Tech International (+7.52%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Altur (-6.16%), Electromagnetica (-3.48%) and Longshield Investment Group (-2.74%).
