Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Wednesday's session higher on almost all indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed on Wednesday higher on almost all indices, with total trading of 93.56 million lei (18.38 million euros), of which share transactions amounted to 78.17 million lei (15.35 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 1.15%, up to 23,283.60 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 1.12%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.83%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, gained 1.27%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, also rose 1.01%, while the SIF index BET-FI closed up 0.36%.

At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.45% of its value compared to the previous session.

The most liquid stocks were those of Fondul Proprietatea, with transactions of 15.18 million lei, followed by shares of Banca Transilvania (10.77 million lei), and those of OMV Petrom (9.65 million lei).

At the same time, the best developments were recorded by the shares of Electroaparataj (+14.74%), Armatura (+14.49%) and Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+9.12%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Aeta (-5.79%), Vrancart (-3.92%) and Prebet (-2.54%).
