The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's session higher on most indices, and the total value of transactions was over 104 million RON (20.898 million euros).
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 13.62 million RON, followed by the shares of OMV Petrom - 10.524 million RON and Fondul Proprietatea - 10.128 million RON.
The main BET index recorded an appreciation of 0.36%, reaching 17,788.71 points, and the BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid stocks on the Stock Exchange, registered an advance of 0.42%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, recorded an increase of 0.36%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.13%.
On the other hand, the BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, gained 0.28%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed up 0.29% .
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.28%.
The best developments were registered by Antibiotice (+6.18%), Casa de Bucovina-Club de Munte (+6.15%) and Aages (+5.58%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Promateris (-10.69%), Rompetrol Rafinare (-9.20%) and Bermas (-5.41%).
