The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher on most indices on Wednesday, with total trading of 54.392 million lei (10.696 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.24%, up to 22,700.59 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed higher by 0.25%, agerpres reports.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.38%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.21%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.32%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up 1.04%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, fell 0.46%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 9.054 million lei, followed by Evergent Investments shares - with 3.697 million lei, and OMV Petrom shares - 3.436 million lei.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by Armatura shares (+14.58%), Evergent Investments (+6.75%) and Prefab (+5.26%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by MF Capital shares (-5.82%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (-4.19%) and SIF Hoteluri (-2.78%).
