Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Monday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed lower the first session of the week, with trading of 4.372 billion RON (878.5 million euros), while bond transactions represented 4.303 billion RON (864.76 million euros) of the total value recorded.

The main index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.24%, to 17,639.46 points, the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares, closed down by 0.20%, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, fell by 0.21%.

On the other hand, the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.41%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, recorded a decline of 0.06%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.42%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.25%.

The most liquid shares on the regulated market were those of Romgaz, with transactions of 15.04 million RON, followed by shares of Banca Transilvania, with 13.27 million RON, and Green Tech International - 3.94 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Romcab (+14.98%), COMCM (+7.83%) and Bermas (+6.43%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Sinteza (-14.65%), Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (-11.11%) and Electroaparataj (-8.11%).
