Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's session lower on almost all indices, and the total value of transactions reached 580.25 million RON (116.59 million euros).

The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 75.24 million RON, followed by the shares of Sphera Franchise Group - 24.79 million RON and those of Fondul Proprietatea - 10.7 million RON.

The main BET index recorded a 1.21% depreciation, reaching 18,057.78 points, and the BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares on the Stock Exchange, lost 1.24% of its value.

The broad blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell 0.92%, while the SIF index BET-FI rose 0.12%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, depreciated by 0.60%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.36%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed down by 1.05%.

The best developments were registered by SIF Hoteluri (+11.22%), Condmag (+8.33%) and Bermas (+7.64%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-7.95%), Prebet (-5.16%) and Antibiotice (-3.38%).
