The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed on Tuesday lower on almost all indices, with total trading of 413.6 million lei (81.32 million euros), of which share transactions represented 396.11 million lei (77.88 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.26%, to 23,449.96 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 0.27%.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down 0.17%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 0.29%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.07%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up 1.82%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.55%.
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 14.28 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 11.05 million lei, and Hidroelectrica shares - 6.06 million lei.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by Comcm Constanta shares (+8.21%), SSIF BRK Financial Group (+6.15%) and TTS - Transport Trade Services (+6.03%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Energopetrol Company (-14.79%), Armatura (-14.52%) and Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-9.55%).
