Bucharest Stock Exchange closes this week's first trading session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session in the green, with the value of trading at 81.73 million RON (16.14 million EUR), from 76.65 million RON (15.16 million EUR) in the previous session.

The main BET index went up 1.37% to 17,736.34 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the stock exchange, recorded a 1.33% advance.

At the same time, the BET-XT broad blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid stocks closed up 1.46%, while the BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies gained 1.67%.

The return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK went up 1.45%, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG closed up 1.49%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies in the AeRO market, closed 1.30% higher.

Banca Transilvania shares were the most traded on the Regulated Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with the value of the exchanges registered with these stocks being 26.33 million RON, followed by the shares of Fondul Proprietatea with a turnover of 11.04 million RON and Hidroelectrica with 8.56 million RON were also among the most traded shares.

According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Condmag (+8.33%), Armatura (+8.22%) and Vrancart (+7.14%)

Conversely, the most important decreases were recorded by Sinteza (-14.93%), Mecanica Fina (-10.18%) and Artego (-8.21%).
