The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session with a decrease on almost all indices, and the exchanges amounted to 81.04 million RON (16.03 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.87%, to 20,630.22 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Stock Exchange, closed down by 0.85%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decrease of 0.70%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, gained 0.42%, compared to the previous day.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, lost 0.53% of its value, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell by 0.82%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 0.27%.
The most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 29.11 million RN, followed by Hidroelectrica shares - with 6.79 million RON, and those of OMV Petrom - 4.86 million RON.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by the shares of Turusm, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+14.98%), Electrocontact Industrial Group (+8.7%) and Mecanica Fina (+6.86%).The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Condmag (-6.06%), Compa (-4.17%) and Vrancart (-2.65%).
