Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Tuesday's trading session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's session higher on almost all indices, with trading of 63.618 million RON (12.535 million EUR).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, increased by 0.85pct, to 20,334.44 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed higher by 0.83pct.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.79pct, while the SIF index, BET-FI, went up 0.35pct.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose by 0.91pct, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an increase of 0.73pct.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up by 1.61pct.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 12.186 million RON, followed by Hidorelectrica shares, with 10.502 million RON, and Fondul Proprietatea, with 4.657 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Santierul Naval Orsova S.A. shares (+7.23pct), Promateris S.A. (+6.45pct) and One United Properties (+4.83pct).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of AETA S.A. (-6.96pct), Electromagnetica (-3.45pct) and Bittnet Systems S.A. Bucuresti (-3.06pct).
